Cost Calculations
Rates are calculated on the number of words. Times are given for guidance only.
Generally speaking:
Slow reading - 100 words per minute.
Regular reading - 150 words per minute.
Fast reading - 200 words per minute.
Quotation Currency is specified in US Dollars, converted to the local currency where applicable using mid-market rates at www.xe.com
Scripts are required for approval before final agreement.
Rates are generally "buy-out with unlimited usage" unless otherwise stated.
If a buy-out rate is required by the client then it is double the one year usage fee.
We encourage multiple scripts to be read within a single reading-day or studio session to reduce client fees.
Translation Services
Translation services depend very much on the content. Technical jargon, different language pairs and how condense is the document text. Finally, certified translations verses uncertified translations. Certified translations are required for Official government Documents. other documents like script translation do not need to be a "Certified" translation by a licensed translator. For our purpose we will focus on translations for the film industry.
