Click to watch this video on YouTube  Unfortunately YouTube does not recognize that the Bangkok City Ballet has obtained copyright permission and the process to obtain such from YouTube is too extensive to bother going through, but here we want to give you an example of the quality of BCB by showing you one full dance performance. It is well worth watching.

We filmed this live performance for the Bangkok City Ballet using four TV broadcast quality Hi-Def cameras and recorded the sound directly from the mixing desk onto a portable recorder. We captured audience reaction with a microphone set up in the audience seating area.

We had four hi quality TV broadcast quality Hidef cameras. One at the center back of the audience filming at widescreen the entire stage. One halfway down the audience towards the stage showing a tighter shot of center stage. A third camera at 1/4 left of audience pointed towards stage right and the forth camera at 1/4 right of audience pointed towards stage left. Each cameraman had communications with the Camera-Director who was in the control booth. The camera Director (Mr. Shayne van Vlerken) had the previous day filmed the last dress rehearsal and was during the live show replaying the footage on the camera-monitor 5 seconds in advance of the performers movements on stage and giving directions to the camera-operators (Alex Marshall, Paul Stachan, Ben Reeves and Jenny Balee).
